The Coronation Festival: Most Awaited Royal Event at Buckingham Palace
The Coronation Festival, London’s most colourful royal event of 2013 is only a few days away. The Coronation Festival to be held from July 11th-14th will be a four day event that will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation with mirth making events at Buckingham Palace.
This unique event, hosted by the Royal Warrant Holders Association, brings together hundreds of companies who hold Royal Warrants of Appointment. The Coronation Festival will also celebrate innovation and excellence. The 800 odd royal warrant holders are a diverse bunch.
Royal Warrants of Appointment are an insignia of royal service providers who had the distinction and merit to supply goods or services for the royal households of the Queen, the Duke or the Prince of Wales. These providers operate in many niches and include purveyors of champagne, fine foods or retailers handling garments, furniture and kitchen appliances, decorators, merchants or technology specialists.
The 200 companies with the Royal Warrant of Appointment will showcase their wares in four areas:
- Food and drink
- Design and technology
- Homes and garden
- Style, pursuits and pastimes
Open to Public
The Coronation Festival will be open to members of the public who can buy a ticket for the daytime event to explore the Gardens and experience the wide range of products and services at the exhibition.
