Westminster Area Information

Westminster, SW1 is the home of some of the most famous buildings and structures in the UK and the perfect residential location in London. This is where the oldest elected government in the world has its offices located, just along Whitehall from Trafalgar Square to the River Thames, and set back from a grand boulevard containing statues and memorials of past imperial glories.

St. Stephen's Tower (also known as Big Ben) is one of many iconic structures and it is located at the Westminster Bridge end of the Houses of Parliament. Another historic building in the area which is situated just across Parliament Square would be Westminster Abbey, where several British Monarchs have been crowned since 1066.

Many of the Westminster's residents are either Members of Parliament or staff of some of the biggest corporations in the world, so people who live in this area will always have powerful or influential neighbours, which means a lot of police presence and closely monitored CCTV cameras all around, making the area quite secure.
